The Sewing Workshops in Alleys

Today, we went to Active Ageing Learning Center to interview the grandmas who used to make clothes. Below is the interview record.

Ms. Chen became an apprentice since graduating from junior high. It was the beginning of her 40 years of clothes-making in family workshops. She made the whole suit of clothes instead of parts.

A2.Patchwork is different from making clothes.

A5.You had to sew it slowly.

A7.I have a sense of accomplishment when finish a product.
