Hello, everyone! I am Shun-wei Huang. My purpose for participating in the Cyberfair project is to expand my own knowledge and learn about the Shenjiang culture, features, and history, that of which I cannot learn from books. I was born in the Philippines, and am a Christian. I know many people make a connection between Shenjiang and religion, but I feel Shenjiang is a cultural feature and can be separated with religion. I just want to study the content of Shenjiang culture, and get to know more about Taiwanese local history. That’s why I want to learn about Shenjiang. I hope I will understand more about Taiwanese culture through this activity.
Hi everyone, I am Ming-hsien Hsu. The reason I participated in the Cyberfair project is because I am interested in computers and the Internet. I also usually like any story about gods or Shenjiang. I would like to understand more about Shenjiang culture through this monographic studies activity. The part that attracts me the most is that I can carefully study every single Shenjiang statue in detail, with explanations from the most experienced teachers. I hope I will be able to participate in more similar types of activities so that I can understand more about our hometown local cultures and features.
Hi, I am Pin-yu Wu. I have dark skin and have grown very tall. I have a lovely younger brother, one excellent older sister, and two most dear family members, Dad and Mom. My interest is reading, since it helps me to relax from intense feelings and intoxicates me with an expansive fairytale world. My expertise is writing. For the Cyberfair project, I hope I can push my expertise to the limit, and help many people who do not know Shenjiang culture to understand this invisible treasure through our detailed illustration and introduction.
Hi, everyone, I am Kuan-ting Ho. My dream is… I don’t know yet. Why did I join the Cyberfair project team? Since I respect Shenjiang and am curious whenever I see Shenjiang, I joined the Cyberfair project. My interest is reading books about Shenjiang culture. My expertise is distinguishing Shenjiang statues. Why? During the Shenjiang Carnival on November 2, I discussed the most with our director. I hope I can contribute my knowledge through this activity and lead more people to know Luzhou Shenjiang culture.
Hi everybody, I am Yuan-ting Tseng. I am skinny and short. My dad and my grandma all say that I am too skinny and want me to eat more. My interest is reading novels. My expertise is playing badminton and writing. My dream is to be a teacher. I joined this monographic study through Po-hung Wang’s passionate recommendation. The most attractive part of this activity is learning about Shenjiang culture. When I was little, my mom used to take me to watch Shenjiang patrol tours, so I want to learn more about Shenjiang culture. I hope this activity can enrich my knowledge.
Hi everybody, my name is Po-hung Wang. My interests are riding bikes, playing various ball sports, and reading various novels (especially Percy Jackson & the Olympians). After joining the Cyberfair project, I feel the things I learned are not something I can learn from any institute. The part I like the most was interviewing masters. I learned a lot of new knowledge from the interviews. After being a part of the team, I hope I can pass this Luzhou traditional culture onto everyone who wants to know about it.
Hi everybody, I am Yu-chi Hsu. I like painting. The reason I participated in the Cyberfair project is because Teacher Tsai selected my work. He wanted Hsin-yu Li and me to participate in the project team together. I like this project, since it’s a rare experience that I can work with everyone to accomplish something. In the procedure, I learned about teamwork. In the learning process, I learned a lot of Shenjiang knowledge and painting skills. I hope I can utilize my expertise and contribute to this team.
Hi everybody, I am Hsin-yu Li. My interest is graphic design using Photoshop CS3. When Teacher Tsai saw Yu-chi Hsu’s and my graphic design work, he wanted us to join the Cyberfair project. Also, I am very interested in traditional culture and would like to learn more about Shenjiang culture. I like the Cyberfair project team and hope I can utilize my expertise to contribute to the project.
Hi everybody, we are the instructors of this project, Director Chi-sheng Cheng, Teacher Ming-kui Tsai, Teacher Hung-hsun Weng, and Teacher Guan-you Gao (from left to right). Luzhou Shenjiang culture is a very special local culture. Even though many people have negative impressions on Shenjiang culture, if we put aside our prejudices, we will find that the spirit of Shenjiang culture is worthy of learning. For example, we can learn the masters’ techniques and loyalty stories of Shenjiang. We hope we can introduce Shenjiang culture to everyone through the Cyberfair project and help pass this culture on forever.

It’s January 25, 2013, and we are at the end of the project. We took a big photo together. We are very happy, since winter break is finally coming.
