As we walked through the main entrance of Lujhou City The Forbidden City Museum, we saw a spirit stone of Yi Fu Ding Jiang Shan and stone statue of Weng Zhong, a Wen Wu official of the Tang dynasty, on each sides of the entrance. The museum sits in the north and faces south, its oriental garden landscape were specially designed for Feng Shui purposes. In the garden there were the Zhuang Yuan Fu exhibition hall, the 1801 dismounting stone tablet of the Wen Wu officials, the 1863 Fu De Cih temple, and the 1508 En Chu Kong. There were tremendous amount of artifacts, such as articles of emperors, articles of jade, articles of copper, wood carvings, and weapons. The most eye catching item was the 188cm jade burial suit of the West Han dynasty. The suit is woven by 1100 grams of gold wire; an artifact rarely seen in the world. Within the museum there is also a complete set of throne from the Ming emperor's imperial palace. Included in the collection were the gold and jade double sided dragons screen, the imperial summer garment, and gold crowns. Of the ivory carving of "Chang-o flees to the moon" the moon at the top of the carving has 52 levels; which are more than the ivory carving in the National Palace Museum. Chinese historical weapons are also one of the exhibition themes of the museum.?The museum exhibits a complete collection of knives, swords and shields from the warring states period to the Qing Dynasty. Not only is a sword an assault weapon, it is also a brilliant piece of art. There were numerous valuable treasures inside the museum. The tour of the museum is like a magnificent and enchanting story drawing people into its world of the past. It's a trip worth going.

..LU JIANG .The Transformation
"Lujhou City The Forbidden City Museum" was once called "The Forbidden City Folk Arts Museum". The founder of the museum was the master of carving, Master Liang-chuan Wang. Due to his love for all rich traditional Chinese historical artifacts, and disappointment with the artifact preservation conditions of domestic agencies, Master Wang with his strong background in the authenticating of artifacts, established this museum. The museum was first called a folk arts museum. However, with over ten years of artifact collecting, the artifacts were large in number and rich in variety. Therefore, the Department of Cultural Affairs has promoted it and changed its name to The Forbidden City Museum.
