The sculptures were made in 1989 with a height of 320 cm and a weighed 7.5 kg. The materials used were camphor wood, bamboo, gold and silk fabrics. These sculptures were specifically made by Master Wang in Lujhou City The Forbidden City Museum for teaching purposes. During temple parades, Lords Seven and Eight would stand at the forefront to guide Buddha himself. These sculptures are smaller and lighter, an ordinary 6th grade student should be able to lift it up, which makes it different compared to the larger idols. Completing these sculptures, inclusive of its body and hat, took half a year of arduous work.

This sculpture was made in 1508 from camphor wood, lazurite beads and gold foil. His Holy Majesty Lord Guan, commonly known as Lord Guan, His Holy Majesty or High Lord who Subjugates Demons, belonged to the three religions of Buddhist, Taoist and Folk beliefs. Even Confucian scholars promote Lord Guan for his representation of the spirit in "loyalty and honor". This god was also a prime example in the history of Chinese religious development where a mortal transcended into godhood. This image of His Holy Majesty Lord Guan has five centuries of history.

This is a work from the Ming dynasty made using bronze, ivory and woodcut. When one obtained the first position in the Imperial Examinations, family and friends would bestow a gift of the crab, which meant that the candidate has finally "crabbed-out". Another point is that the successful scholar should not be as the crab, charging through blindly in the political arena, and that he should be upright. Crabs are a unique creature. Of the flying birds and walking beasts on Earth, it is the only one whose head is joined with its body. Even in the Crystal Palace of the Dragon King, the crab walks horizontally (Chinese synonym for a bossy attitude).

A work from the Ming dynasty made using green and white jade, with a length of 46 cm and a breadth of 10 cm, and a thickness of 6.6 cm. Ruyi are the predecessors of the modern massage stick. In the ancient times, the uniform of the bureaucrats were embroidered. In order to prevent them from breaking the embroidery when rubbing itches, the Ruyi was designed with a rounded tip. Ruyi was also synonymous to "wish of success" Presenting a Ruyi as a gift during a birthday would mean to hope that the recipients would enjoy success in all their undertakings.

This is a Qing dynasty work made using Hetien white jade. Hetien in Xinjiang produces very little jade, but it was well received by the Emperors and gentry elites. Craftsmen were commissioned to craft these jade into decorative items or playthings. This piece of white jade cabbage is complete with intricate carvings, making it an extremely treasured item. It gives off a crisp sound when given a light knock. It is a very rare piece of jade sculpture.

This Ming dynasty artifact was made using silver cord, steel and iron. A blade-in-blade was a secret weapon of the Ming dynasty. These rare weapons were literally two blades in one. If a warrior should find himself disarmed in battle, he could draw a second blade hidden in the scabbard. The decorative material is lazurite with silver cords wrapped upon it. The groove along the blade is to drain off the blood from the foe during fights and the blade is extremely sharp.

This is a metal alloy artifact from the late Qing to early Republican era. This warning siren was preserved relatively well. The siren is covered with unadulterated original paint. During the Second World War when the Japanese army invaded China, air-raid warning siren can be sounded by shaking this device.     This artifact was made during the Three Kingdoms era using bronze. During the Three Kingdoms era, Kong Ming led a campaign in Guizhou and Yunnan, where it was high humid and rained daily. Kong Ming drums, or Kong Ming chair, was invented. They would turn it upside down when taking meals, and it could be used to make soup, fry rice and vegetables at night. Hence, it serves multiple functions. When marching, beating drums could be used to scare off your enemies. An army of ten thousand men can be made to sound like an army a hundred thousand strong, boosting its morale.
