Promotional video

In order to strengthen the people’s impression on Luzhou Cup and attract students to participate in the activity of soliciting contributions, we decide to expand the publicity in a manner of acting. We intend to record the video about Luzhou Cup and place it on the homepage of our school website, so that students and parents can have a better understanding of Luzhou Cup. On the day of recording the video, the instructor let us see the process manuscript during the morning self-study to explain the whole filming process and required us to make use of breaks of 3 classes to find the feeling of their own lines and practice it well.

When it was the lunch break, our teacher helped us arrange everyone’s position and then we began to practice. We totally recorded the video for 3 times to achieve the good results. Although we’d like to record better ones, we have no more time. In the video, the dialogue between children and their mother has explained the original intention to design Luzhou Cup and our expectation for Luzhou Cup has been expressed through our aside and posters. Later we have known that some junior schoolmates in middle grades like this video very much and they all laugh while watching the video. Perhaps, this video can really bring lots of inspirations to students.

Speaking note of video


Part 1

A son wears the school uniform and cap, faces the camera lens and stands in the left side of the camera lens. A mother (a man dressed like a woman) wears the turban, she is back to the camera lens and stands in the right side of the camera lens and a piece of paper is pasted on her back (I am washing clothes). The 2 people hold the cheat sheet in their hands and their action is like robot.

The 2 students hold the propaganda posters of Luzhou Cup in the middle of the camera lens.
Other 4 students stand behind the propaganda posters (several posters) in a line and they do not appear temporarily.

Another student holds a cup in the hand and he waits beside the video camera and begins to act in Part 3.

Hello, everyone! We are the members of Cyberfair project and we’d like to promote a “Luzhou Cup”— exclusive to Luzhou, so that we can use this cup to enjoy the discounts in numerous stores in Luzhou to further reduce the use of paper cup and protect the nature.
We need your help to design the badge on Luzhou Cup and the pattern on the cup body. The badge and pattern need to have the Luzhou style and the awareness of environmental protection!

Part 3


The student holding the cup in the beginning raises the cup to completely block the camera lens; then he slowly retreats by the suitable distance. This student needn’t read the manuscript, but he must act according to the manuscript and the action can be exaggerated.


As for the 4 students standing behind the posters in the beginning, when the cup blocks the camera lens, 2 of them go back behind the posters and keep hidden and the other 2 students run to the camera (the signal reception is good there; the two students keep hidden and look at the cheat sheet to read the explanation of the following 2 parts)
The 2 students holding the posters keep still.
The son and mother keep still and make no sound.



Dear audience, look at the cup in our hands and it cannot be more ordinary. But this cup will become priceless after 2 great and miraculous events occur.


Attention please! Only 2 great events are needed!

The first one is that we will zoom out the badge designed by you by the appropriate proportion and then paste, place and print it on the cup. Probably it’s here on the cup! When the cooperative merchants see the badge, they will know it is Luzhou Cup which can enjoy the discounts.

Hey hey! The pattern on the cup body designed by you is the second great event. We will slightly adjust the size of the pattern and print it on the cup body. It’s here on the cup. We are students participating in Cyberfair project, we’d like to promote a plan of environmentally-friendly cup which is exclusive to Luzhou and we will name this environmentally-friendly cup as “Luzhou Cup”. We hope that if this cup is used to buy the beverage in the beverage store, the costs can be reduced and meanwhile the possibility to use the environmentally-friendly cup can be increased to protect the nature.


We will invite the stores in Luzhou to participate in this activity together,
so we’d like to invite the students to design the cup.
Draw the pattern which represents Luzhou and contains the concept of environmental protection.
