Our Expectations

After these interviews, we have understood how toilsome the work of Cleaning Squad is. We rely on our own ideas to write our opinions for the cleaning in Luzhou and Cleaning Squad, our words to them and the expectation to the public and the students.
Tze-yi During the process of several interviews, we have known that our little negligence will cause great trouble to cleaning crew. Similarly, for the sake of convenience, some enterprises discharge the waste water and wastes to the nearby rivers. Although government has the discharge method of strict control and management of industrial wastewater, a small number of enterprises still escape the control and management. It proves that only the enterprises themselves can make them stop discharging the wastewater. I sincerely expect that they can stop damaging the environment and that all the people can stand in the shoes of cleaning crew.
Tze-hsuan After the several interviews with Cleaning Squad, I have a thorough understanding of their toil. Of course, it is not enough to merely understand them and we need to implement it. Therefore, we’d like to use this Cyberfair project to reflect the fact to the government that Cleaning Squad is understaffed. In fact, after having interviewed cleaning crew, we contrast the similarities of the 7 large classes. The results show that their main problem is “short of hands” instead of equipment and capital. This problem is often neglected by others and it is also one of the most serious problems. It is a simple truth, namely if you have the equipment and capital but you are short of hands, it means nothing. So we hope that government can discover and solve this problem earlier. In this case, I believe that cleaning crew can relax in the work.
I-chin In recent years, many people use the disposable tableware for the sake of convenience, but they don’t realize that their behavior has caused the pollution and increased the quantity of refuse. The government also advertises to prohibit using the disposable tableware and puts up the posters to encourage people to use the environment-protecting tableware. It is hoped that people can reduce the usage of disposable tableware and carry the environment-protecting tableware on their own. It is not only sanitary but also can reduce the quantity of refuse in Taiwan.
Pei-ju After several interviews with cleaning crew, we have understood many things. The cleaners need to do the cleaning and clear the rubbish for us every morning, so that we can have a comfortable morning every day. In summer, the cleaners wear the reflective vest, safety shoes and safety helmet. With sweat streaming down their back, they are very toilsome. After the typhoon, the road is covered by the leaves and the cleaners need to recover the city appearance in the first time, but the public turns a blind eye to this behavior. In the last interview with Cleaning Squad, we have known another fact: the personnel in resource recycling class do not tell cleaning crew to cause them to get hurt because the people often put the glass or the dangerous liquid on the car. Therefore, we hope that when people throw garbage, they can tell the cleaners and we also hope that when students see the cleaners, they can say “Thank you for your hard work” to them; at the same time, it is also their driving force to work.
Chia-yu In the morning, when you see cleaning crew do the cleaning for the environment on the road, what is your mood? For the purpose of environmental protection, our team of 2018 Cyberfair project decides to make an environmentally-friendly cup exclusive to Luzhou and we call it “Luzhou Cup”. It is hoped that this “Luzhou Cup” can be widely used. The purpose of making environmentally-friendly cup is not to encourage the people to drink more beverages but hope people to reduce the use of paper cup and plastic cup. It can not only reduce the resource waste but also protect the original beautiful environment.
Ching-ya Students’ bad habit of throwing the garbage here and there causes the mess in the campus. If such thing occurs in our city, how shall we keep the city clean? I hope that students can put the feelings of cleaning crew in the heart after reading our webpage. The moment you throw the garbage here and there, you can think of the toil of cleaning crew. Everyone should keep a good habit to make the environment become better.
Jing-ting “They” have helped us do the job we do not want to do, but we treat them in a bad way. I’d like to tell you, “Cleaning Squad is very toilsome rather than dirty. They are willing to sacrifice themselves to protect the environment of Luzhou. So please do not insult them and they are of great importance to us. Without them, Luzhou will become dirty and messy. So everybody should respect them.”
Shun-kai

In the beginning, I think that Luzhou is a district where people have no need to work hard to do the cleaning. After the interview, I have found that we should attribute the clean environment to the cleaners. Their efforts create the clean environment. Otherwise, the rubbish will be everywhere on the street and the ditch is filled with oil and sludge to become watertight.

The Cleaning Squad is very toilsome, but when people simply say “Thank you for your hard work” to them, it will make them feel the job is worthwhile. I expect that all the people (populace or students) should do their bits in the environmental protection, instead of wasting the resources or throwing the rubbish. Everyone should develop the good health habit. In this way, it can not only alleviate the work of Cleaning Squad but also prevent the global warming to make our environment become better.
Chia-chia

Our purpose of making Luzhou Cup is not to make the populace drink more beverages and we hope that everyone can reduce the usage of plastic and paper cups and use the Luzhou Cup more frequently. I hope that everyone can use the Luzhou Cup repeatedly. Luzhou Cup is not so convenient as plastic and paper cups, but they are better than the disposable cup because they are environmentally friendly. Let’s work together to protect the environment and reduce the usage of plastic cups. It is hoped that everyone can do our bits to our own living surroundings!
